With the continuous development of technology,wireless sensor network(WSN)technology is booming.Nowadays,as an important part of the safe city,the medical field is heading to the intelligent era,so as the hospital monitoring.The traditional hospital environment monitoring uses the wire method which brings many disadvantages such as the trouble of wiring,the accuracy of measurement is low.Therefore,constructing a hospital environment monitoring system with intelligent which is based on the WSN technology is imperative.In this paper,we have designed and implemented a hospital environment monitoring system based on the WSN technology.This system can monitor some basic environment parameters at the real-time,which contains temperature,humidity and light intensity.The sensor nodes use TI's CC2530 as the core chip,and ZigBee technology is applied to implement the self-organizing network between sensor nodes.The data is transmitted to the sink node by single-hop or multi-hop,finally the sink node uploads the data to the monitoring center.Data transmission reliability is an important issue in wireless sensor networks,this paper designs the network topology and routing topology which are based on the degree-constraint shortest path tree.In this way,the system can effectively reduce the “hot issues”,at the same time,the network provides multi-path and shortest path to transmit the data.We also evaluate the performance of the network topology by some indicators which contains the average number of hops of the network,network lifetime,and the success of the data transfer rate.Results from the experiments: WSN technology and ZigBee technology provide a new idea for the hospital environment monitoring,which meets the requirements of design.The performance is so excellent with the advantage of stability,high reliability,easy to expand and maintain.
