With the rapid development of the information construction,computer networks has become the most useful tools for processing the information. As been the data center of the computer networks, they have many important system devices. Their environment and work state of the devices will have an effect on the operation of the whole computer networks. Consequently,it is significant to monitor the data center. On this basis,this paper use upper machine software to implement the function of real-time display of the machine room monitoring.During the process of the system design, we have some comparison with a variety of short-range wireless communication. Then, we choose Zig Bee because of its flexible networking modes, lower cost and low power. Firstly, data which from the device terminal is transmitted to the coordinator. And then, these data are uploaded to the upper computer and analyzed so that we can see the data on the upper machine.During the process of the hardware design, this paper uses the chip CC2530 as the core of the system. We also build the peripheral circuit according to the pin function and the performance characteristic of this chip. Finally, we complete the circuit design of the power module, reset module and communication module.For the software design, this paper has researched on the principles and methods of the Zig Bee networks and designed the procedure of the terminal module and the coordinator. Then, we use the Zig Bee protocol to transmit wireless data and achieve the function of the networks. On software design of the upper machine, we use the Lab VIEW to write software of monitoring. This software can analyze the data we received. It can also show the temperature,humidity, operating voltage and work state parameter of the room environment.Experimental results show that, this system can collect the room environment and work state parameter of the machine room in real-time. At the same time, our system can communicate in a safe and reliable way.Our research has preliminarily studied and implemented the application of the Zig Bee in monitoring system. Based on the experiments, we verify the practicability of Zig Bee which make sense to the application of other monitoring system.
