Railway Technical Regulation Management & Dynamic Searching System Research And Implementation

With the development and improvement of modern office automation system, to achieve office automation through computers has gradually become a popular trend. Compared with the complex and inefficient traditional manual work, office automation could not only enhance efficiency but also complete more sophisticated tasks. We designed “Railway Technical Regulation Management & Dynamic Searching System” based on our field research. The purpose is to realize the convenience of information input and inquiries, thus providing scientific and efficient operating platform for daily regulation management.This paper analyzed current management situation and the needs of users. It also provided in-depth discussion on design and implementation of “Railway Technical Regulation Management & Dynamic Searching System”.The paper first demonstrated the specific requirements of users from the perspective of super administrators, administrators and staff. The analysis of use case results and parts of significant use case specifications were given as well. Then it showed the system architecture design and the conceptual data design in terms of software design. Followed by this, it provided the division of functions, which include nine parts: my regulations, regulations' retrieval, regulations' column, regulations' management, regulations' searching, regulations' development and revision, consultation, dictionary management and system management. Detailed physical database design was given according to each part. In the meantime, it also introduced and discussed some critical issues such as large file storage, dynamic searching, user preferences(default classification management, customized classification management and customized label management), workflows, plan management and so on. After this, it examined the test run results of the system and proved effectiveness of the work.
