With the development of science and technology, human life has been an unprecedented level of increase. People enjoying the scientific and technological achievements to bring the convenience and comfort but also for the various types of environmental pollution control efforts. Water pollution is one of the core of its contents. Water quality monitoring is an important means of preventing water pollution. Therefore, water quality monitoring equipment research and development has great significance.The traditional method of monitoring is based on the principles of analytical chemistry, water samples were collected on a regular basis, then back to the laboratory for analysis, measurement of various parameters of water quality, complicated operation and can't guarantee the accuracy and timeliness. This compares with water quality monitoring system with parameter parameters, effectively improve the efficiency of water quality monitoring.In this paper, an in-depth understanding of the working principle of reservoir water quality monitoring system requirements and water quality monitoring system based on the proposed design of the overall water quality monitoring system and the actual structures.
