HAINING company's product quality information management system is developed for the implementation of the company's total quality management strategy with focuses on the quality management and information integration at products design, manufacturing and engineering service phases.Adapt to the to be improved aspects in the enterprise's quality management operations, this system is developed based on the advanced and matured product quality data analysis and reliability analysis techniques to semi-quantitatively or quantitatively evaluate the product's quality status. The quality evaluation is applied to make the product's quality under controlled and tracked status at the unit of each manufacturing batch. With these objectives, the software system's requirements are analyzed and the important functions are represented with use-case models. On basis of the software functions analysis the system design is established with the multi-layered architecture design, module design and database design schemes. HAINING company's product quality information management system is programmed with C# language and its programming model in .NET runtime environment. Its database is SQL Server which is matured and reliable in the applications for small size enterprises.With the development and applications of this product information management system, the company's quality management operations are significantly improved in the following aspects. Firstly the company is equipped with quantitative and precise technical measures via this system to perform total and quantitative quality control. Secondly the quality control method over all product lifetime is initially setup, replacing the old methods which is relatively separated in the products design, manufacturing and sale phases. Thirdly the quality management operations are well integrated with the manufacturing process which significantly improves the productivity. In conclusion, this system satisfies the enterprise's requirements in its quality management business.
