Study On The New Product Quality Management Of W Company's Laptop During Development Stage

Low manufacturing cost is an important guarantee for manufacturer enterprise to continue to gain profits,is also the management goal for the management level to make continuous efforts.In order to keep the low manufacturing costs and achieve sustainable profits,the products must have good manufacturing quality;in order to get the good manufacturing quality,they must have excellent product designs;and in order to obtain an excellent and mature product design,the key factors are to manage the new products from the pilot-run stage.In the new product development stage,how to optimize or improve the quality management process and use quality management tools to manage the new products,create excellent products have become an important research issue.As a brand ODM company with product design,development and manufacturing of notebook products,also due to the requirements changing of the consumer market,W company not only has to deal with the complex and difficult problems of product designs,but also has to face the fierce market competition.The quality of new products has become the core competitiveness of W company.How to improve the quality management in the new product development stage is the first problem in the stage of product development.Firstly,this article investigates and studies the development process and the quality management of new products in W company's new product,designs and adopts questionnaire survey,combines with the analysis of the quality problems of notebook products in mass production stage,and deeply analyzes the quality management problems in the new product development stage for notebook products of W company,Then through the combination of brainstorming and questionnaire,dig out the real reasons why the existing management problems exist,that is,the quality management process is not good enough,the quality management tools are not be used during the new products development stage,and lacks the systematic quality management during the new product development stage.Then this paper put forward the combination of relevant quality management tools,and the quality management improvement process in the new product development stage;At the same time,base on the new process,puts forward its specific implementation plan and methods,as well as the use of variety of quality management tools,including the design for intelligence(DFI)management,NUDD(New?Unique?Difficult?Different)risk identification management,mock up analysis management,failure mode and effects analysis(FMEA)management,also for assembly and disassembly analysis management.Through the preliminary implementation of quality management improvement process,can ensure early identification for the design issues and improve the design proposal from products design in the pilot-run stage,take the actions to do early prevention,to improve the maturity and stability of products design.The implementation of systematic quality management in the early stage of development is conducive to make sure the good product design quality,and helping the manufactures to improve the yield rate for production quality from product design points.The research results fill the loopholes of quality management in new product development stage.The study results of this article plays a direct reference value to solve quality management for new product development during pilot-run stage for W company,and it can also be used for reference in the quality management of similar electronic company.
