Research On Total Quality Management Of Books Under The Background Of High Quality Development

At present,"high-quality development" has become a new situation that the whole book publishing industry must face.In this new situation,how to improve the quality management level of Press managers and how to arouse the quality awareness of all publishers has become one of the most concerned topics of publishers.This paper optimizes the current situation of book quality management in presss,finds out the existing problems and deficiencies,then uses the classic theory of management-total quality management to solve the problems and make up for the deficiencies,and puts forward a Book quality management guarantee system combined with total quality management methods,so as to effectively improve the book quality and improve the efficiency of book quality management through the operation of the guarantee system,So as to promote the improvement of the total quality management level of the press.This paper draws the following conclusions through research.First,judging from the current situation of the publishing industry,although the number of unqualified books has decreased in the past few years,the number of publishing units involved has decreased,and the unqualified rate has also decreased,the unqualified rate of books is still more than 10%,while in 2021,the unqualified rate of random inspection of books is as high as 20.37%.Second,the fundamental reason why books have problems in content quality and editing and proofreading quality lies in the low political position and weak sense of responsibility of some publishers;Not familiar with laws and regulations and poor business ability;The economic benefit of the press is supreme and the quality consciousness is weak;The quality assurance is not in place and the management system is not implemented.Third,through the research on the theory of total quality management and the implementation of PDCA cycle,we can have a comprehensive and accurate analysis of book quality management,and improve the quality of book publishing units,so as to do a good job in the prediction of product quality problems,reduce the generation of quality problems from the root,save quality management time,improve the level of quality management and reduce the communication cost of quality management,Finally,the book quality is optimized.Fourth,through total quality management,publishing units systematically,systematically and systematically solve problems and make up for deficiencies in view of existing problems and deficiencies,improve the book quality management guarantee system combined with total quality management methods,effectively improve the book quality through the operation of the guarantee system,and finally promote the overall Book Quality Management level of the press.
