| Today, with the increasing development of the radio communication technology, the application of various electronic products, within the ISM band of 2,4GHZ, is rapidly rising, which results in the frequent band interference and jam. Different manufacturers developed radio products which applied in higher band to solve the problem. Complying with the trend, the related organizations of different countries, after discussion and validation, opened 5 GHZ band to public use. By the end of 2012, China’s ministry of industry issued an announcement of the application of the wireless access system in 5150-5350 MHZ band, included with the detection requirement of DFS in particular.As working band of international radar system, 5 GHZ is special. The new challenge of the signal approval test is to ensure the regular work of radio communication equipment in this spectrum, without interference to the radar system. This paper involved in a thorough research on DFS test method and system solution. And the whole research was based on the DFS testing requirement in the process of type approval test of the radio transmitting equipment. In addition, during the research for the paper, FCC, ETSI and other national standards were studied, radar signal characteristic of 5GHz analyzed, DFS method and system solution was designed, hardware system set up based on existing lad equipment, and software system was verified. In the end, the testing system was validated through the testing demonstration of related products.Test results show that this set of automatic test system meet approval of work for the testing needs of type, in line with national testing standards, and compatible with a multi-national testing standards. The detection system for the future to detect other DFS band also has a certain reference. |
