In order to realize the intelligent non-destructive testing on workpieces on line, this paper presents an automatic tracing system of audio non-destructive testing signals, which integrates mechanics, electronics and computer.The system includes two parts: software and hardware. The hardware is composed of the selection of sensor, magnifying circuit, filter circuit of multi-plot tracing, shaping circuit, demodulation circuit, peak value holding circuit, and voltage comparing circuit. The software includes querying module on the states of system, filter selecting module, data processing module, displaying module and printing module. The author innovatively used mock switch to select frequency automatically and provided the probability to realize automatic testing on different kinds of workpieces.This paper applies the theory of metallic material acoustics and internal friction, the base of vibration dynamics and metallic dynamics to analyze the testing data. The result indicates the relative error is below 0.5%. The demands of the design are satisfied.
