With the development of high-technology, the increasing demand for people to purchase new houses in new city pushes public’s desire for real estate information becomes more intense. Apart from the relatively traditional ways, such as from the sales center or surrounding people, to get limited real estate news and information, we can now learn more authoritative and detailed house property information with the aid of Internet technology. However, systems providing such services are currently rare. This is not only due to the way how state and local governments managing real estate information, but also the situation that current service provided are not so good. Before purchasing, interested buyers have to refer to the experience of household to learn about a house estate, but they are unlikely to find these tenants to consult.Based on the statement above and the necessity of establishing Real Estate Information Systems, in this article I discussed the functional requirements and the features a real estate information system should meet. And the functional features of the real estate information system were systematically explored. After that, I designed and implemented a systematic solution. This system can provide real estate for users to search, compare and collect real estate information. In addition, it provides the latest news and information of estate projects or policies, and gives surrounding environment information, like shopping, education, medical and travel information, as well as whether there are factories nearby, what the household comment on it. This system is implemented to achieve a score and ranking module of property assessment. Meanwhile, the system uses geographic information technology to show the property location on a map, so that users can quickly locate a real estate and observe the surrounding environment more intuitively.The estate information system in this paper is based on MVC architecture, using MapABC GIS API, PHP and MySQL technology to implement Web services. The system can be embedded in an existing site as a functional module or provide service independently. Managers can manage user information in the backstage pages; users can browse more detailed information in three stages pages of search results.
