The Design And Implementation Of Geographic Information System For Distributed Barracks Based On MapABC API

With the development of science and weapons, geographic information system is playing an increasingly important role for military combat training and its daily management. Meanwhile, the forces spent lots of manpower, material and financial resources to increase its research and development spending. Although the geographic information system can provide important data for forces of terrain analysis, navigation positioning and policy decisions, the existing system is still hard to meet the needs of all forces, because of each task of force and personnel into is in different, they all have their own characteristics. The platform designed specifically for the scattered CAPF, security forces and coastal defense forces, for its daily management and command decision to provide important geographic information security.For the purpose of the research above, this thesis presents a design scheme and realization method for the army camp geographic information system.The main work accomplished in this thesis:(1) First, this thesis introduces the origination, development and status quo of the geographic information system, On the basic of analyze and comparison of WebGIS, combined the actual demand of the army camp with organizational establishment system, I have built up the whole structure of the platform and the relationship between sub-platform system module.(2) On the basis of fully considering stability and flexibility of the system, I determined the system based on Scott MapABC API, adopts B/S architecture and modularization design, based on it, the database structure and user interface is designed. According to the needs, I divided the system into six major functional modules which are system login, mark display, insert, update, delete and navigation.(3) During the development process, in order to bring good experience for users, lighten the network burden and to speed up the system response, I mainly use the jQuery language to transfer Json data. What’s more, I combined with the entity framework technology, complete the rapid development of the database system, the use of model metadata annotation has rapidly to realize double data validation of the client and the server.It has been found that this system can provide real-time geographic information service for the force,and provide important geographic information data for the army’s command decision and deployment. This system changes the traditional concept of "armchair", break through the traditional methods such as paper maps and sand table. The digital display of geographic information environment is come true, more intuitive spatial geographic information and navigation information shows the forces. What’s more, this system developed a thought for the forces of innovation and development, enriched the achievements of information construction, strengthen the foundation of information construction.
