Because of its uniqueness and extensity, some issues would emerge. The sources of files become rare and it's difficult to continue collecting records; there are less talented people who devote themselves into file-revising work; the Archives' s informational development needs to be promoted in order to catch up with paper-records' development. The Archives' collection development work included editing the “essence of the Hunan province archives collection”; building file showrooms with ten thousand square meters; holding a series of commemorative activities at Mao Zedong's birthday and in the future will continue to enlarge, the archives as a comprehensive red museum, etc. the problems raises in development work are: the red archives is not quite popular and it is still have rooms to earn a good reputation; the editing work is slow and difficult; only have a single display form, etc.Then, according to those problems, several strategies have been considered: promoting resources construction and development; paying more attention to the talent team construction, and facilitating mobile information services; through archives compilation, excavating archives information; Enhancing interlibrary cooperation, promoting the collection resources complementary; speeding up the digital process, etc.Red files in the inheritance of human civilization in the long river of history, play a very important role, while the changzhutan area, as one of the birthplace of the ancient red revolution, has become a popular red-travelling place and should fully combine the red history archives value, culture and education value.
