With the rapid development of Chinese economy in recent years, the logistics industry has experienced an explosive growth. Compared with developed countries, the enterprise management and logistics management in China has still left much to be desired. Hence, the internal and external resource of the enterprise should be fully integrated so as to realize the long-term economic development and maintain the core competitiveness. This paper has adopted the information technology to carry out the effective collaborative management for logistics company, therefore enhancing the management capability and core competitiveness. The logistics has become the top priority for the enterprise.The process of logistics management should be built around the realization of major business for S Company. The business process featured by close-ended circulation can facilitate the operation and management of control activities. By analyzing the business order of S company, this paper has effectively planned the logistics management system and also designed a powerful logistics management system based on three-layer structure. In addition, this paper has also developed and tested the JavaEE-based platform by utilizing the technologies such as Hibernate API, Spring and Struts. The system design is realized with the standard UML language. The use case diagram, activity diagram and status diagram are adopted to analyze the business process of logistics management. At the stage of system implementation, the logistics management information system can be divided into order management module, inventory management module, distribution management module, customer management module and financial management module. The comprehensive design of the five modules can ensure the excellent user experience. According to research result, the logistics management system of S Company has well performed in terms of practicability and effectiveness.This system can realize the interaction between different areas and contents. After realizing the goal of logistics management system, this paper has also achieved the effective data storage based on the developed platform. What is more, this paper has offered some advice aimed at the existing problems. Judging from the tendency of future logistics management information system, this paper has pointed out the development direction.
