Material management system is an important measure to improve the operation efficiency and reduce the running cost of the enterprise.And it is also an important way to realize the enterprise strategic target and enhance the enterprise competitiveness.In this paper, the author designs a power enterprise material management system based on RFID technology.The use of RFID technology can reduce the workload of the warehouse administrator, make the material inventory and search becomes more convenient and easier, and it also can effectively ensure the accuracy of storage material information, improve the material access speed.This system integrates the bidding purchase, warehouse management, demand planning and procurement management and other content into a system. Each working group, through the network to share data in the database, reduce the working hours of each other. So all of the data transmission and information transmission are carried out in the system, the problem of asymmetric information will not appear, and it also can improve the work efficiency.Firstly, this paper analyzes the RFID technology, introduces the composition, classification and related communication protocol of RFID system, and analyzes the selection of the RFID system of power material management system.It analyzes the database design requirements of material management system, and compares the advantages and disadvantages of SERVER SQL, ORACLE, DB2 and MYSQL, and the database of SERVER SQL is selected for the system.It compares the advantages and disadvantages of B/S structure and C/S structure, and analyzes the structure of B/S model.Secondly, it analyzes the requirements of the material management system of the municipal power company. It analyzes the classification of materials needed for power system, and analyzes the material management and analysis according to the material classification of power system;It analyzes the characteristics of material management in electric power system, and analyzes the function of material management system in electric power supply management system. According to the flow direction of the material, the material management system is determined.Finally, it describes the design and implementation of material management system.According to the MVC architecture model, the system is divided into three parts, which are the presentation layer, business logic layer and data support layer.The business logic layer is divided into the demand planning subsystem, the tender management subsystem, the purchasing management subsystem, the warehouse management subsystem, the logistics management subsystem and the system management. This paper mainly analyzes the design of the warehouse management subsystem and the design of the bidding management subsystem. Those two part is the innovation of this design.Warehouse management system is based on the RFID technology and traditional location management mode. It can meet the application of electric power enterprises, reduce the cost of warehouse management, save management time.Tender management subsystem is the key development direction of material management. Using the way of network bidding can save time and cost, and also can expand the scope of the tender, procurement to the quality of the material. At last,it analyzes the design and implementation of the database. It makes clear the design principle of the database, the E-R chart design and the database of the two machine hot backup and data asynchronous synchronization.
