Modem aircraft manufacturing is moving toward being informatized and intelligenized. Informatization in enterprises over a long period of time proves that a single system is insufficient for achieving informatized production management and collaboration of multiple systems is necessary. Guided by this concept, theoretical research is conducted on Collaborative Manufacturing Executive System (C-MES) standardized model and a C-MES platform featuring manufacturing operations is developed for making aircraft structures. The platform is capable of coordinating multiple systems within an enterprise, thus making up the information gap between different workshops and improving coordination between different information systems. The paper is structured as follows:1. Based on the survey of C-MES application in enterprises domestically and abroad, and features of production management in aircraft structure workshops, this paper provides an analysis on the role of C-MES in manufacturing aircraft structures and the need for system coordination platform from the perspective of the relationship between ERP/PDM/DNC and C-MES.2. In the overall system design phase, the systematic structure of the software system is completed; The overall network and hardware are planned; the overall function modules are constructed; The overall design of integrated platform that coordinates multiple systems with workshop C-MES system is completed.3. In the detailed design phase, in accordance with the overall function plan,9 function modules are designed and assigned specific functions; Function modules are built by using IDEF language; The system data structures are designed and ER relationship mode is built; Finally, data integration interfaces for the system are analyzed and designed, according to data structure.4.In the system implementation phase, based on a flexible platform ABP and using Java general programming tools, a WEB framework is constructed on the basis of J2EE framework; The stereotype for collaborative MES is developed and verified for its effectiveness and feasibility in coordinating multiple systems by running within an enterprise environment.
