Manufacturing is developing towards networking, informationization, intelligentialization, industrialization and integration, with the application and extension of cloud computing in this field. Therefore, exploring new sustainable developmental models and tools of digital manufacturing technology has become the research direction of China manufacturing and even the world manufacturing. Oriented to cloud manufacturing platform, this thesis, by using a new generation of process collaboration technology, Internet of Things technology, integration technology, etc. sets out to probe into the integration of 3D CAD/CAM oriented towards cloud manufacturing through researching the application of 3D CAD/CAM in the field of manufacturing. The main research contents are as follows:Based on the internal needs of manufacturing informatization and the hierarchy of cloud computing, the integration of cloud computing and manufacturing informatization is realized; according to customers needs, the infrastructure of the integrated cloud computing and manufacturing informatization is mapped out, and the applications of PC, tablet and other devices are developed, thus achieving the deployment and application of business applications in the mobile device clients.On the basis of the demand characteristics of the soft manufacturing resources in cloud manufacturing platform, this thesis also examines the collaborative technology of various heterogeneous platforms within private cloud platform architecture, aiming to maximize resource utilization by rationally allocating and scheduling the soft manufacturing resources to avoid the waste of resources and resource use conflicts.This thesis also studied the mainstream CAD/CAM integration technology oriented to cloud manufacturing platform so as to realize the integration of 3D CAD/CAM. Oriented to private cloud platform in Kaimu Information Technology Ltd, secondary development technology is used to develop the two mainstream of the market, i.e., 3D CAD software, Tekla, and 3D CAM software, Delmia. Tekla and Delmia are then integrated with PDM to provide the integrated service of model data and process information for cloud manufacturing platform.Second development components are utilized to gain the structure and design data of Tekla part model and the process information data of Delmia 3D process model. These data are stored in XML files and uploaded to PDM through data conversion. A unified model is designed for a variety of three-dimensional models so that model browsing could be carried out in web pages and clients without the corresponding 3D software installed on the platform. Thus, technical support is provided for cloud manufacturing platform and 3D mainstream CAD/CAM is integrated in the cloud manufacturing platform.
