Action Research To Promote Social Integration Of Persons With Disabilities Under The Empowerment Perspective

With the development of society, more and more countries and people with disabilities are taken seriously. People with disabilities are also part of the community, is a legitimate citizen of a country, they also have the right to realize their value. However, because there are some flaws with disabilities in physical or psychological, resulting in their capacity is limited, in the fight for their rights, when there will be some difficulties. We are also part of society, and social work to assist countries to address problems and promote national development career, so being a part of social work disability, we have an obligation to find out their problems and needs, helping them equal participation in society, to explore the potential.This article is from the perspective of empowerment and involvement in social work from the study of social integration of persons with disabilities, the main form of the method used is action research, from the level of the individual and community needs analysis of social integration of persons with disabilities, from the process of social practice promoting their integration. The results show that the social integration of people with disabilities a sharp increase in demand, more and more people pay attention to people with disabilities in social work, but the power of social work small, much-needed social and country to join the ranks of people with disabilities to work in society, the addition of each social work agency services for the disabled range is very small, can not meet the needs of persons with disabilities.Scholars study the increasing emphasis on social integration, related research is also more and more. In this paper, on the basis of previous research, carried out two innovations. First, the theoretical aspects of the paper, there are a lot of social work scholars with disabilities is built on the empowerment perspective, but from orientation to empower research article on the social integration of persons with disabilities are very few, and this article is based on empowerment three levels of theory of social integration of people with disabilities do interventional studies. Secondly, in terms of goal-setting to promote social integration of persons with disabilities, the author has taken a gradual approach. Start with their psychological problems, we focused on enhancing self-confidence, increase their ability to communicate, as they enter the community to live a normal life bedding. After that, in the context of these skills, life skills training and then the author of persons with disabilities, under the guidance of the concept of self-reliance, so that people with disabilities rely on to get rid of real family life, to become masters of their lives.
