| The cause of people’s livelihood has always been one of the construction tasks that the Party and the government of our country are highly concerned about.With the development of medical services,the prevalence of intellectual disability in my country has been well controlled.Despite this,there are still a considerable number of intellectually disabled adolescents,and their intellectual disability seriously affects their social integration.At present,the social integration of intellectually disabled adolescents has gradually attracted widespread attention.The state has also issued relevant policies on assistance,medical rehabilitation,education and employment for intellectually disabled adolescents.However,there are still many problems in the specific implementation process.Most of them focus on the material level,and little attention is paid to the special difficulties and internal needs of intellectually disabled adolescents in terms of social integration.With the increase of age,the self-awareness of intellectually disabled adolescents gradually increases,and they are eager to integrate into the society.If these problems cannot be solved in a timely and effective manner,they will not only affect the physical and mental development of intellectually disabled adolescents,but also bring enormous pressure to families,communities and social relations,and even affect social harmony and stability.Therefore,it is imperative to pay close attention to and actively explore to promote the effective integration of intellectually disabled adolescents into society.The author takes 23 students with intellectual disabilities from special schools in C state,Xinjiang as the research objects,and effectively improves the comprehensive ability of social integration of intellectually disabled adolescents from three dimensions: identity integration,social integration,and occupational integration.The author uses literature research method,interview method and questionnaire survey method,combined with cognitive behavior theory and advantage perspective theory,to focus on the inner needs of intellectually disabled adolescents,tap their own potential,link social resources,establish social support network,and promote the independence of intellectually disabled adolescents.Development,promote the benign interaction of mutual acceptance and equality among members of the society,and form a social atmosphere of "helping the disabled and loving the disabled",contributing to the promotion of people’s livelihood and the construction of a socialist harmonious society. |
