The Clinical Treatment Efficacy And Effects Of Arterial Stiffness Parameters Of He Chang Paste On Patients With Essential Hypertension Of Yin Lack Yang Excessive

Objective:By investigating effect of the He Chang Paste on blood pressure,clinical symptoms,ankle-brachial index(ABI),brachial-ankle pulse wave velocity(baPWV),carotid-femoral pulse wave velocity(cfPWV),intima-media thickness(IMT),resistance index(RI),blood lipids in essential hypertension patients who are discriminated as yin lack and excessive type,exploring the possible mechanism of improving clinical efficacy and atherosclerosis,some new ideas for the treatment of essential hypertension and atherosclerosis are provided.Methods:92 patients with essential hypertension and discriminated as yin lack and yang excessive type were enrolled,and then randomly divided into control group(n=46)and test group(n=46).In control group these patients were treated by simple western medicine which according to the 2010 Chinese Guidelines for the Management of Hypertension,and in test group those were treated by He Chang Paste combined with western medicine,and both therapy last for 12 weeks.Then comparing the blood pressure,clinical symptoms,ankle-brachial index,brachial-ankle pulse wave velocity,carotid-femoral pulse wave velocity,intima-media thick ness,resistance index,blood lipids of them before and after therapy.Then the results were statistically analyzed.Results:1.90 patients completed the research,the number of control group is 44 and the test group is 46.There was no statistically significant difference between two groups of patients before treatment in gender,ages,BMI,course of the disease,the grade of hypertension,Chinese medicine symptom integral,ABI,baPWV,cfPWV,IMT,RI and blood lipids levels(P>0.05).2.Two groups of systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure were significantly reduced after treatment(P<0.05),test group treatment efficiency in patients with blood pressure is significantly better than control group(P<0.05).3.There were significant reduction in the symptom score of TCM(P<0.05),test group treatment efficiency in patients with symptom score of TCM is significantly better than control group(P<0.05).4.The level of ABI in two groups after treatment was no significant change(P>0.05),there was no statistically significant difference between two groups in ABI after treatment(P>0.05).Two groups of baPWV and cfPWV decreased significantly after treatment(P<0.05),the test group was better than the control group(P<0.05).Two groups of IMT decreased significantly after treatment(P<0.05),and there was no statistically significant difference between two groups in IMT after treatment(P>0.05).RI of two groups decreased significantly after treatment(P<0.05),and the test group was better than the control group(P<0.05).5.After treatment,TC?TG?LDL-C were all decreased significantly in the two groups(P<0.05),the test group was better than the control group(P<0.05).HDL-C of two groups increased after treatment(P>0.05),there was no statistically significant difference between two groups in HDL-C after treatment(P>0.05).6.There was no Statistically significant difference of safety between two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:1.The simple treatment of western medicine combined with He Chang Paste can preferably reduce blood pressure of essential hypertension patients who discriminated as yin lack and yang excessive type.2.The simple treatment of western medicine combined with He Chang Paste can preferably improve clinical symptoms of patients who discriminated as yin lack and yang excessive type.3.The simple treatment of western medicine combined with He Chang Paste can preferably reduce the level of baPWV?cfPWV?TC?TG?LDL-C in essential hypertension patients who discriminated as yin lack and yang excessive type,suggesting that He Chang Paste can regulate blood lipids and improve atherosclerosis to a certain exten.4.He Chang Paste in the treatment of essential hypertension patients who discriminated as yin lack and yang excessive type is effective and safe.
