Clinical Observation Of Qingling Tang In Treating Essential Hypertension (Excessive Phlegm-Dampness) Complicated With Anxiety

Objective:To explore the clinical efficacy of Qingling Tang on essential hypertension patients(excessive phlegm-dampness)complicated with anxiety.Method:This study included 66 patients with essential hypertension(excessive phlegm-dampness)complicated with anxiety who met the requirements of the first department of cardiovascular outpatient of the First Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine from September 2019 to September 2020.They were randomly divided into experimental group and control group,each group 33 patients.The control group was treated with conventional western medicine,while the experimental group was added with Qingling Tang on the basis of conventional western medicine.The course of treatment was 3 weeks.The changes of blood pressure,SAS score and TCM syndrome score were observed before and after treatment and made a statistical analysis.Results:1.Blood pressure: After treatment,blood pressure in both groups were lower than before(P < 0.01).Moreover,blood pressure in the experimental group decreased more than those in the control group(P < 0.05).The total effective rate was 71.88% in the control group and 90.91% in the experimental group,respectively.Hence,the antihypertensive efficacy in the experimental group was better than that in the control group(P< 0.05).2.TCM symptoms: After treatment,the scores of each TCM syndrome score in both groups were lower than before(P < 0.01).Furthermore,the effect to relieve TCM symptoms in the experimental group was better than that in the control group(P< 0.01).The total effective rate was 40.63% in the control group and 72.73% in the experimental group,respectively.Thereby,the curative effect of TCM syndromes in the experimental group was better than that in the control group(P< 0.01).3.Anxiety: After treatment,the scores of SAS score in both groups were lower than before(P < 0.01).And the effect to alleviate anxiety in the experimental group was better than that in the control group(P< 0.01).Conclusion:1.Qingling Tang can reduce the blood pressure of patients with essential hypertension(excessive phlegm-dampness)complicated with anxiety.2.Qingling Tang can improve TCM syndrome of patients with essential hypertension(excessive phlegm-dampness)complicated with anxiety.3.Qingling Tang can alleviate the anxiety of patients with essential hypertension(excessive phlegm-dampness)complicated with anxiety.
