Objective:This clinical study mainly purpose to observe the improvement of clinical symptoms and safety of Shengyang Yiwci decoction in treatment of functional diarrhea (weakness of the spleen with dampness-heat syndrome).Methods:In this study, the 60 cases were in line with the diagnostic criteria of FD (weakness of the spleen with dampness-heat syndrome), who were selected from Mianyang City Hospita-1 of TCM outpatient stomach, the two gro-ups all had 30 cases, and the treatment group was treated with tra-ditional Chinese medicine Shengyang Yiwei decoction, while the control group was given Jin Shuang Qi and Dictahedral Smectite Powder. Observe the two groups of patients-clinical efficacy, TCM syndrome scores, recurrence rate and the safety after 4 weeks of treatment.Results:(1) Clinical efficacy Analysis:the total effective rate of the treatment group was 93.10%. while in the control group, the total efficiency rate was 79.31%. The result of clinical efficacy data showed P>0.05 through the Rank sum test, which indicated that there was no statistically significant between the two groups.(2) TCM symptom scores comparison Within group comparison:TCM symptom total scores before and after the treatment was statistically significant (P<0.05); two groups of individual symptom scores before and after treatment were statistically significant,but insomnia in addition to outside (P> 0.05).Comparison between groups:It was shown that the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05) both of the two groups after treatment in improving stool frequency, stool, dry mouth, mouth pain, abdominal distension, tongue and pulse differences in limbs. However, in improving appetite, fatigue and other symptoms of the remaining, difference was not statistically significant (P> 0.05).(3) Recurrence rate:Closely followed up for 2 months after the treatment, the recurrence rate of the treatment group was 7.41%, while in the control group, the recurrence rate was 30.4%. comparing the state of relapse of the two groups, the statistical analysis showed that P<0.05, meant the difference was statistically significant.(4) adverse reactions:During the study the treatment group and the control group all had no experience on any adverse reaction.Conclusion:the treatment group-Shengyang Yiwei decoction had a significant advantage compared with the control group-Jin Shuang Qi and Dictahedral Smectite Powder, especially in some aspects, such as relieving the patient's symptoms and reducing the recurrence rate etc,so it was worth further researching and spreading. |
