Therapeutic Effect Of Tonifying Spleen And Stomach Diarrhea And Yinhuoshengyang Decoction On Chronic Eczesia Of Spleen Deficiency And Dampness

1 ObjectiveBased on the pathogenesis characteristics of deficiency of spleen and stomach,internal retention of damp-heat,and dampness invading muscle and skin,this paper aimed to study the clinical effect of Bupiwei Xieyinhuo Shengyang Decoction,a prescription from Piwei Lun,on the chronic eczema with syndrome of dampness amassment due to spleen deficiency.The symptoms(degree of pruritus),signs(erythema,papules,oozing,erosion,moss,etc.)and TCM syndrome characteristics were also observed.thus to explore its advantages and advantages,and to provide the basis for clinical promotion.2 MethodsEighty patients with chronic eczema according to the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into two groups with the random number table method:the Xieyinhuo Shengyang Decoction group and the control group,with 40 cases in each group.The patients in the Xieyinhuo Shengyang Decoction group were treated with Bupiwei Xieyinhuo Shengyang Decoction one dose twice a day.The patients in the control group were given Western medicine(loratadine tablets),daily 10mg.All patients were evaluated from four aspects:severity of lesion,lesion area,degree of pruritus,TCM syndrome,and the percentage of serum eosinophils and the absolute value were also observed.After two periods of treatment(4 weeks),the scores and indicators were statistically analyzed,the clinical efficacy before and after treatment were also compared.3 ResultsAccording to the exclusion criteria,1 case of shedding is not included in the overall data statistics,the final income of a total of 79 patients,of which 40 cases of Xieyinhuo Shengyang Decoction group,the control group of 39 cases.There were no significant differences in terms of age,gender and course of disease between the two groups(P>0.05).(1)After treatment,the total effective rates of the two groups were 85.00%in the Xieyinhuo Shengyang Decoction group and 64.10%in the control group.The difference was statistically significant by the χ~2 test,χ~2=4.561 and P=0.033.The curative effect of Xieyinhuo Shengyang Decoction group was more obvious than that of the control group.(2)After treatment,the total effective rate of TCM syndrome improvement was 92.50%in the Xieyinhuo Shengyang Decoction group and 58.97%in the control group,respectively.χ~2=12.151,P=0.00,the difference was statistically significant,the effect of Xieyinhuo Shengyang Decoction group was better than the control group;(3)By the paired sample t test,after treatment,the total score of severity of lesion,degree of pruritus,TCM syndrome of the two groups were decreased(P<0.05).After the treatment,the scores of the above two groups were statistically analyzed by the independent sample t test,and the P values were 0.011,0.003,and 0,respectively.The scores of lesion severity,pruritus and TCM syndrome scores were significantly lower than those before treatment;(4)According to the Wilcoxon rank sum test,the results showed that the score of lesion severity,the score of the pruritus and the score of TCM syndrome were more obvious than the control group,and the curative effect was better than that of the control group.After treatment,the EASI score and rash area score of the two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment(P<0.05).The difference between the two groups was analyzed by Mann-Whitney U test,the P values were 0.106 and 0.962,all greater than 0.05,no statistical significance,suggesting that both methods can reduce the EASI score and rash area score,but the effect between the two groups was no significant differences;(5)By paired sample t test analysis,after treatment,the EOS and EO were lower than before in both groups(P<0.05).After treatment,EOS and EO were analyzed by independent sample t test.The values of P were 0.538 and 0.706 respectively,which were all higher than 0.05,the difference was not statistically significant,suggesting that both treatments can reduce EOS and EO.However,the effect between the two groups was no significant differences.4 ConclusionsBupiwei Xieyinhuo Shengyang Decoction can significantly improve the symptoms,signs and TCM syndrome performance of chronic eczema with syndrome of dampness amassment due to spleen deficiency.In addition,it can significantly reduce the percentage and absolute value of serum eosinophils,the effect is effective and worth of clinical application.
