Canine pancreatitis refers to the digestive enzyme of pancreatic exocrine secretion which is activated in pathological conditions, causing damage to its own tissues and organs, and then leads to a disease of systemic inflammatory response. In recent years, pancreatitis is gradually becoming one of the most common diseases of the digestive system in dogs. However, the clinical characteristics of canine pancreatitis are similar to that of acute abdominal diseases caused by the inside or outside intestinal diseases, and there is no detection test for specific symptoms giving rise to the difficulty of differential diagnosis. So,in order to provide a better diagnosis and treatment scheme for dogs, this requires that veterinarian can make differential diagnosis of canine pancreatitis quickly and effectively. Therefore, the study of its etiology, clinical symptoms, diagnostic tests including hematology and imaging does provide theoretical basic and guide for the diagnosis and treatment of canine pancreatitis. This study is based on 128 canine pancreatitis cases from animal hospitals of Jilin University,Dejin,Xinhua and Nuoya in Changchun, from September 2015 to December 2016.And then, the clinical investigation and analysis is performed.Primarily,to provide evidence for comprehensive analysis and differential diagnosis of canine pancreatitis, this study analyzes the clinical data of 128 cases including case investigation, clinical sign, laboratory and imaging finding, treatment and prognosis. In this group of 128 cases, the results show that: Firstly,They are all adult dogs. The number of 3-8 years old group are in the majority(90/128,70.31%).Female to male ratio is 2.37:1.The majority of breed is teddy dog(26/128,20.31%).Dogs eating high-fat foods and human foods are in the majority(91/128,71.09%),and most of those are over weight(78/128,60.94%);Secondly,The main symptoms include depression(90/128,70.31%),anorexia(116/128,90.63%),vomiting(95/128,74.22%)and stomachache(77/128,60.16%);Thirdly,The results of SNAP? c PLTM canine pancreas-specific lipase test are all positive. There are 90 cases WBC value increased(90/128,70.31%),110 cases MO value decreased(110/128,85.94%),89 cases PCV value increased(89/128,69.53%),76 cases ALKP value increased(76/128,59.38%),102 cases AMYL value increased(102/128,79.69%),112 cases LIPA value increased(112/128,87.50%),77 cases GLU value increased(77/128,60.16%).In addition, there are 53 cases(53/102,51.96%)AMYL value increased three to five times than the normal value,75 cases(75/112,66.96%)LIPA value increased three to five times than the normal value;Fourthly,There are 31 cases(31/128,24.22%)observed varying degrees of pancreas changes by ultrasound;Fifthly,There are 101 cases(101/128,78.91%)with good prognosis,27 cases with death(death rate 27/128,21.09%).Posteriorly,2 typical cases selected from canine pancreatitis are analyzed. From the above, these results demonstrate that a high-fat diet tends to cause disease;Once the clinical manifestation of canine is vomiting and continuous stomachache,we must suspect the disease is pancreatitis or not;Firstly, using SNAP? c PLTM rapid detection to screen;Secondly,to make comprehensive evaluation through blood routine, serum biochemistry and ultrasonography testing; The effect of etiological treatment, supportive treatment and adjusting feeding management is better.
