Research On The Continuation Of Place Memory Based On The View Of Old Industrial Area

A city,with the changes of social structure and the declines of traditional manufacturing industry,a large number of old industrial area land have been left in the city.Not only affect the overall image,but also cause land resources idle.The old industrial area is a witness to the development process of urban society.The deep historical and cultural background,and rich industrial relics are their important self-value.Due to the incomplete relevant theoretical system,the lack of practical experience,local culture and spiritual aspects,many updates of industrial plants were aimless to prefer overturn and reconstruction.Therefore,this action led to the disappearance of architecture and location symbols which were familiar to the city residents.As the past life of the imprint erased,the memory of the old industrial area also slowly faded.Therefore,more and more people has paid attention to the renovation of the old industrial area.The main concern of the renewal of the old industrial area is to retain the collective memory of the city and the public's emotional identity.This paper mainly tries to study the transformation of the old industrial area based on the memory of the place?First of all,to explain the relevant concepts and theoretical research,summed up the field memory to find and express the method,combined with "Dahua 1935" actual case analysis,mining the past memory of the site,extract the memory symbols and landing for the design,excavate the past memory of the site and consider how the existing design carries the past,present and future memory.Retain and inherit the old industrial area of the text,the old industrial area of the memory of the continuation of the place.This paper first analyzes the theory and practice of the transformation of the old industrial area at home and abroad,expounds the relevant definition to analyze the old city's landscape characteristics in a specific interpretation of the old industrial area,and forms a solid theoretical basis;This paper focuses on the study of the characteristics of memory in the old industrial area,combing the relevant strategies of the transformation of the old industrial area with the domestic and international success stories,and puts forward the design of the old industrial area with universal significance.In practice,we select the case of "Dahua 1935" in Xi'an to analyze the case,through a lot of data collation and field data research,we deeply analyze the characteristics of the site,and put forward the innovative and sustainable design strategy,the old industrial area renovation design summary and prospects for the development of the old industrial area development prospects.the old industrial areas are likely to reintegrate into urban environment,and reestablish social public identity.
