Study On The Tansformation Of The Old Industrial Area In Jilin Province Based On The Continuity Of The Urban Context

As the urban soul and the spiritual ballast of urban residents,urban context is a crucial factor to distinguish cities,the homesick mind of prodigal children as well as a reflection of context in urban construction field.As economy develops rapidly,blind urban construction and unremitting pursuit for economic interest have caused the disappearance of historical buildings,variation of natural environment and cultural convergence;these problems have brought such obvious consequences as same images of the city and social blundering psychology.Under the new normal state,the continuation of urban context has become the commonly concerned topic of all sectors of society while the pace of urban construction is delayed.As a constituent part of Northeast Old Industrial Base,Jilin Province has a glorious and long industry history.Its industrial zone formed during industrial construction is tremendous and complicated and occupies an important position in industrial development of Jilin Province.As the urban construction constantly develops and the urban size continues to be expanded,the old industrial areas originally located in the urban fringe have been the urban heartland,which has seriously hindered the urban construction and economic transition,therefore,removal and reconstruction of the old urban industrial areas are carried out in succession.It has been a hot topic on how to continue the urban context of the old urban industrial area and avoid the appearance of “chain scission” phenomenon during removal and reconstruction.This paper firstly defines the old urban industrial area and other related concepts,summarize s and evaluates examples of industrial area reconstruction at home and abroad,then screens the referential places,analyzes the constituent factors of urban context,and expounds the principle and method of urban context continuation.Based on the status and features of the old urban industrial areas in Jilin Province,Jilin Hadawan Old Industrial Zone was taken as an example to find out the urban context continuation strategy in reconstruction of the old urban industrial area of Jilin Province,striving for providing new and rational suggestions for reconstruction of the old urban industrial area and continuing the unique urban context of the industrial city and protecting the urban collective memory.
