Risk Management Of Curtain Wall Project In Xinglong Cultural Park

A curtain wall project is characterized by super-huge construction scale,strict technical standards,difficult construction and unique requirements for its using function.Deeply influenced by the limitations of time and cost control,such a project faces multiple risks in the process of implementation.Examining the curtain wall project of Xing Long Cultural Park as its study object,this thesis performs systematic analyses by adopting various methods and tools in the management of risk process,establishes a risk decomposition structure of the curtain wall construction project and proposes specific risk management countermeasures.This thesis analyzes features of the curtain wall project at Xing Long Cultural Park and management objectives at different stages of the project,based on which risk identification and evaluation are conducted.Subsequently,according to the analysis of risk sources and risk function routes,risk response measures as the main proposals that incorporate eliminating and impairing energy of risk sources,as well as cutting off function routes,are put forward.The primary study contents include:a structural table of risk classification and decomposition,and judgments on important risks made in accordance with experts' decisions;identification of function routes of the risks of the curtain wall project;countermeasures which include prevention or plan substitution as the main method for uncontrollable sources of risk in accordance with the controllability of sources of risk by cutting off function routes;base on control,countermeasures which include eliminating and impairing energy of risk sources as the main method for controllable risk sources,while also clarifying the people responsible for risk management;monitoring technology,risk control point thresholds and response measures made with progress,quality,cost and safety as objectives,and evaluation of the effects of risk management on the curtain wall project.The study results show that there are total 50 risk sources related to the curtain wall project,and after the assessment of experts,there are 22 major risk sources,which can be divided into five categories—labor,materials,management techniques,contract-signing and operability of design proposals.Effective methods of risk disposal are circumvention and transfer.Risks like labor,materials,management techniques and contract-signing should adopt the method of eliminating and impairing energy of risk sources;while risks like the economic environment,natural environment and proprietor/general management should implement the method of cutting off function routes.
