Research Of The Historic Quarters Conservation And Development Based On The Theory Of "Organic Renewal" In Taizhou For Example

The history and culture which have been gradually accumulated and formed in the history is the soul of a city.While the historic quarters is the carrier of the history and culture of the city,it is the remains of human activities,as a witness of the history it embodies human thoughts,wisdom and life.We can get to know the folk life and culture traits that have been handed down thought the ages by citizens via the historic quarters.The inevitable old city transformation may have some impact on the protection of the historic quarters in the process of urbanization.Many spatial pattern,lay out of the street and human and culture environment of historic quarters suffered varying degrees of destruction,which need to explore the conservation and development mode that suitable for local historic quarters urgently.This article will based on the current situation of the economic and social development of the city,combined with the organic renewal theory,have a profound self-examination of the large demolition and construction mode for the transformation of historic quarters,put forward that the renovation of the historic quarters is a dynamic and continuous process.While the city develops,the conservation of the historic quarters never stop,and there must be some problems,we should make adjustment of the related protection strategies accordingly.By reviewing the historical and cultural resources of the Taizhou city,analyzing the current situation of historic quarters and the existing problems in the conservation and development process,with the guidance of the organic renewal theory,this article will explore the new organic development mode of Taizhou historic quarters from the planning and implementation aspects.We selected Chengzhong and Yuhangshuicun the two representative historic quarters to conduct the deep analysis and empirical research,put forward that for the Chengzhong historic quarters should focus on the living culture to improving the living environment,enhance neighborhood cultural,expand the local accommodations and inns,and for the Yuhangshuicun historic quarters should focus on "fishing".to revitalize the fishing economy,innovate specific conservation and development strategy of fishing culture.
