Research On The Protection And Renewal Of The Residential Historic District

Under the background of new urbanization, the urban development and protection tend to move toward the road of large-scale transformation of dilapidated house. And the residential historic and cultural quarters is due to the low attention, the poor construction quality, backward infrastructure reasons, are often more easily by the threat of the "bulldozer". Over the past ten years, our country has repeatedly stressed that the protection of cultural heritage, heritage of Chinese traditional culture. Historical district is Chinese national history culture inheritance carrier, How to protect and update it is the main content of this paper.Firstly, this paper briefly described the basic relative concept and theory on the protection of historical and cultural quarters, and introduced the formation of domestic and international protection of its theory and process, and put forward the value of residential historic and cultural quarters. In order to study the present condition and the problems of protection of residential historic and cultural quarters, it selects the better protective case as a reference, assessment, analysis and summary.Then, three relative theories are chosen to research and exploration:Revitalizing Historic Urban Quarters, Organic Renewal Theory, and Catalysts of Urban Design Theory. Through learning theory and case study, put forward principles and methods of protection and renew of residential historic and cultural quarters.Finally, combined with the case of protection and renewal of Yuyao Wushengmen historic quarter project, through the research on the evolution of the historical quarters pattern, evaluation of the status of historical buildings, analysis of historical and cultural value and pattern characteristics, and then proposed the measures for the protection and update district:according to the principle of sustainable development, integrity of historical features, historical authenticity and continuity of social life, choose a proper catalyst the elements of city, use courtyard for the protection unit to "organic renewal", in order to improve municipal facilities, optimize the traffic, with the support of relevant policies, listen to public opinion, to meet the needs of the residents, and improve the quality of life of residents, show the traditional culture.
