In recent years,the events of lost or stolen during storage of radioactive materials have occurred,it has brought a certain amount of harm.Radioactive substances as a new generation of green energy,and will increase its share of the growing research and application,which makes the study of radioactive substances and monitor physical protection became necessary.Now adays,radioactive material management systems are mostly based on the video cable line monitoring system using global positioning technology to track the kind regional scoping.In real-time monitoring system has been lacking,complicated wiring cable installation facilities operations,higher costs spent on the radiation leak of radioactive material occurred in the store can not do accurate monitoring and verification,and the flexibility and intelligence of the system is not fully reflect.Local area wireless network technology used for monitoring special circumstances,in nuclear technology is common in a wide range of radiation monitoring of nuclear materials and other nuclear power p lants operating area.Wireless networks can be indoor positioning technology for physical protection of radioactive materials to provide a new way to monitor,multi-node wireless connection not only for theft and errors to monitor movement of radioactive material,and stored procedures can be done in a radiation leak to accurate measurement.Node installation is simple,low cost,so that it can maximize to achieve the monitoring of radioactive substances intelligent,miniaturized targets.The subject from the beginning of wireless positioning technology and environmental radiation monitoring technology,used in the popular wireless sensor network ZigBee,design of the security monitoring system based on ZigBee Technology.Firstly,through the comparison of s everal existing wireless network technologies,explain the advantage of ZigBee technology and the rationality of the system is selected,depthly analysis of the network topology and protocol of ZigBee technology,the special network structure is designed to monitor the area of radioactive material;Secondly,through analyzed the existing radiation detection front-end module,combined with the requirements of monitoring system for the achieve the degree of difficulty and cost,the G-M J705 counter sensor is selected;In addition,considering the situation of wireless positioning method and positioning algorithm has used,taking into account the selection of the ZigBee core module of its own computing power and system cost,the use of signal strength indicato r calibration method for improve the positioning technology,reduce the error from external factors;Finally,for tested to the performance of the radiation detection module and the whole system in the hardware and software,the results shows that the system can achieve real-time monitoring,environmental monitoring,timely warning and so on.According to the amount of material,size of the area can be any deployment,the system with outstanding value.For the safety monitoring of radioactive materials to p rovide a guarantee,but also provides reliable data for the timely protection and environmental monitoring related sectors;to ensure the safe storage of radioactive substances,also provides reference for the physical monitoring of other special substances or special circumstances.
