| People’s residential life has become increasingly toward intelligent direction since the concept of Smart Home proposed. With the progress of technology, the smart home products have emerged in endlessly on the market, the S mart Home will become the focus of people’s lives in future. The system of Smart Home is the key to realize intelligent home. According the combination of user experience and functional requirements, the paper has designed a system of Smart Home based on wireless sensor networks, which is a set of environmental monitoring, security monitoring, household appliances control system.Firstly, we use the ZigBee technology which is low-power, flexible networking, high-capacity network to build a wireless sensor network about Smart Home in this paper,and use the ATmega128RFA1 chip as MC U, combine with the peripheral circuit design, and then develop a ZigBee wireless module independent. We depend on the desired sensor module to complete the hardware design of the system.Secondly, The paper designs software of the coordinator node and each terminal monitoring node by transplanting the BitC loud stack. We design a client software for PC based on the platform of QT5.4, and also develop a client software for mobile phone based on the system of Android. According to the user experience,the paper build a good software platform for this system of Smart Home.Finally, the paper test the value of RSSI, ED and LQI by using the self-designed module for ZigBee, and verify their relationship to ensure the module meet wireless communication requirements. The coordinator node and each terminal monitoring node are tested for effective communication distance in different conditions, indoor and outdoor. The paper also test and calculate the power consumption of the network nodes, estimate their life. The system functionality is tested overall, including the function of PC client and mobile client, to verify the monitoring system of Smart Home can be realized. |
