Research For The Operational Efficiency Improvement Of Equipment And Operators In M Company

With the rising of external competitive environment, in order to ensure their competitiveness, enterprises internal needs to reduce the production cost constantly under the premise of guarantee the quality and technology. Improving the efficiency of operations is an important measure to achieve the target. As a relatively big company in China, company M’s production operation status under the existing internal and external conditions is facing some problems. It has poorer quality and higher cost, this status is impacted by efficiency of equipment and operators.This thesis will use lean production theory and with actual operational status to analyze M company equipment and the supporting operators’ performance status to figure out the primary cause for its low efficiency; it will also elaborate what harms inefficiency may bring in and what value will come when the equipment and supporting operators’ efficiency get improved. Some improvement actions will be taken after adequate analysis. In terms of equipment, it tries to optimize equipment layout and maintenance and operation standard. In terms of personnel, using job content and method optimization, equipment operation standardization, training three-step method and appropriate retention incentives to enhance staff work efficiency. After the implementation of above action, it will also track the results, summarize experience and analyze yet existing issues. Hope this thesis can also provide some referential ideas and methods to improve the efficiency of equipment and operators for other domestic PCB enterprises.
