With increasingly intense competition of global market, the competent situation that the enterprises are facing is more and more severe. Lean production has been one of the most popular world-wide management theories and approaches in recent years, and it is the third milestone in the history of human industrialization and possesses revolutionary production management and practice method. Moreover, Lean production focuses on reducing waste, especially the waste related to potential of human talent, which belongs to a kind of high flexible and efficient production system. Lean production directs the development of production and is regarded as the regression of management concepts in production, which will significantly improve the production management level and enhance enterprise competitiveness. China has a more urgent need of the concept of lean production to transform itself to be a real powerful manufacturing country, and the lean production is imperative to be the best way to keep superiority in competition for our enterprises..The basic idea of lean production is to eliminate all the unnecessary waste. It requires enterprises to produce only according to the demand of costumers, which is benefit to reduce the cost of production and to improve economic benefit. It aims at using better workers, better production areas, the lower investment, the shorter production and development period and the lower stock to realize a higher quality, satisfaction of customers and lower cost.When it comes to lean production, the first thing we consider is productivity. As a significant index, it reflects the use of resource and the state of input and output in the production process. This paper aims at finding out some significant factors affecting this index: talent incubation and OEE, and analyzing them separately. In addition, this paper uses tools like value stream chart, rapid change over and limited analysis, etc, to realize the enhancement of OEE and apply TWI system to improve the level of talent incubation. Talents are base, so talent incubation is a very important step in management process. Meanwhile, the above research is analyzed through case studies:The successful cases of OEE and TWI in Danfoss. One is using lean production tools-value stream chart, spaghetti diagram, and SMED to enhance OEE and then improve the productivity. Another one is how to carry out TWI and share the contribution it brings to us.The last section is the summarization of cases mentioned above, and review current problems and the direction of the next step in order to make a better foundation of lean production.
