The Research On Management Improvement And Implementation Method Of Mid-and Small-scale Enterprise Based On Lean Production

Lean production is an advanced production method created by Japanese Toyota Company in 1950s-60s. It mainly eliminates all kinds of waste phenomenon hided in the enterprise through the improvement in order to achieve the goal of reducing the cost. It is called another revolutionary production method after the production method of Taylor scientific management way and Ford's massive assemblies line, it is the further deepens result of Industry Engineering.Kaizen means continues unceasingly improvement. This word also contains the meaning that every superintendent and operator should improve the work method in less cost. Although the step of improvement is very small, it can bring the significant achievement passing along with the time.The goal of this paper is to improve original mid- and small-scale enterprise irrational things through introducing the lean production. No doubt, it is very essential to mid- and small-scale enterprises that take up large part of the whole Chinese enterprises.This paper first introduces the theory system of lean production based on the research of the predecessors, then, proposes basic ideas of improvement and some improvement method that is commonly used. And then, introduces some common technologies on lean production, which contains equipment layout, how to determine the number of kanban and balanced production. Based on all the things above, it summarizes rules of carrying out improvement based on lean production in some successful enterprises, and proposes the concrete steps and implementation methods for mid- and small-scale enterprises to introduce lean production. At last, this paper specifically explains the methods above from an example (the management improvement process based on lean production in a certain transformer factory) .This paper proposes the theoretical framework of lean production, the model of the facility layout improvement procedure based on the research of predecessors and summarizes the concrete steps and stages on how to carry out lean production in our country's mid-and small-scale enterprise based on the research of predecessors, it has some guidance for mid- and small-scale enterprise to carry out lean production.
