The Research And Application Of Concurrent Engineering In The Project Management Of Vehicle’s Interior Products

China automobile market has been developed a lot since 2000, and been into top position in the world. It’s said that our automobile overall sell has been growing rapidly in more than 10% per year. And it can be seen as a farther developed period which hasn’t appeared before in China automobile market. And this kind of blowout has been a mous beautiful scene in the world automobile industry as well as a good opportunity for Chinese automobile development. Consumers appeared multiplied needs towards automobile products. And it caused to the changes and improvement of the whole automobile market. Therefore, to satisfy these changeable needs, most automobile companies at home and abroad began to adopt different kinds of means and ways with no discussion to improve their own products’ completeness, they may emerge various advanced technology and new design theory into the product design process. Meanwhile, in the process of designing product, there were always some demands to change the program. And this was just one of the problems which the design team must be faces and solved. And then it has become the main developed aim for automobile companies from home and abroad to finish the automobile products’ design, examine and production with low-cost and high-quality in shortest time on the basis of the market demands and the needs of design changing.Based on the advantage of Concurrent Engineering’s new product development mode to greatly shorten the product development period, this new mode has been accepted by many manufacture companies in these years. However, there were inevitable some consequences with incomplete figure in the early stage of design and development. And it inevitably reduced to do some research under the lack of some information. It can be a risk but a great challenge when we want to bring in the mode of Concurrent Engineering.This thesis will firstly make a simple introduction about the concept of Concurrent Engineering with the feature of Concurrent Engineering in its low-cost and short-time advantage. The author will bring it in the process of automobile design and development. Secondly, the author will mainly analyze the TL’s project management, know and judge towards the problems. According to the problems, the author will combine with the project of New Passat interior deco trim parts to make some try towards the control of project team and the management of product design and development. Also, the author will put forward some suggestion towards the interior deco trim parts’ design and development to make it more perfect. Finally, the author will make an evaluation and summary towards the achievement.
