Electric motor armature has the characteristics of small and large number of slots. It is difficult for traditional winding machine to carry on the multi wires winding. A basic principle of the rotor armature is proposed based on the analysis and research of the artificial winding process. Then, a kind of bionic winding machine is studied and optimized based on the winding theory.The overall scheme of the winding machine is designed. The general function is divided into tension control system, the mechanical structure and control system. We continue to decompose the function modules, until we find the technical solution of each function.Then, the tension control system, constant tension control model and wire tension tighter model are analyzed.Then the mechanical structure is designed and optimized. The mechanical structure is decomposed into a mechanism for winding displacement, a winding mechanism, a mechanism for embedding wires, a mechanism for changing slot. We focus on the optimization of the embedding mechanism and the mechanism for changing slot in order to make the wires arrange more orderly.Then the control system is designed and optimized. We design the hardware system based on the overall structure and the optimization of structure. In addition, we transplant the μC/OS-Ⅱ embedded real-time operating system to meet the needs of multi tasks. Computer control system completes the operation instruction control and state feedback. The control system monitors winding process in order to deal with the situation of disconnection based on the OpenCV computer vision library.Finally, the winding machine is debugged and experimented. Experiments show that the winding machine can complete multi wires winding for the electric armature and has the high control precision, stable performance and the wires are arranged orderly.
