This paper takes typical process control objects as research objects, carrying out the design and development of process control simulation system. In this paper, we develop the simulation object based on the STM32 chip and the upper computer based on the Labview. Meanwhile, we write communications, voltage acquisition, the voltage output program, establish mathematical model, achieve.simple control algorithms on the simulation object.Firstly, this paper introduces the concept of process control system and analyzes the realization of the simulation system. At the same time, we provide the design of the system. Then, we design the hardware part of the system. This paper details the design of analog input module, analog output module, power module and network communicating module, and provides part schematics. Next, this paper introduces the upper computer, particularly, the UDP communication module, Matlab Script and DAQ acquisition module, and provides part plans, using graphical programing language. On the basis of the hardware and software above, we write mathematical models and simulation programs of some typical control objects, such as, water tank and wood-berry tower. This paper introduces the simulation program, control algorithm, and function of these objects respectively. Finally, this paper introduces the functions of the upper computer, such as parameter setting, control algorithm selection, response cure and so on, and provides the waveform. The experimental results show that the virtual objects designed is responsive, convenient control and extensible ability, etc. It can be used in the experiment teaching and can be used for advanced process control simulation system algorithm research.
