The micro bio-fermentation engineering is the basis of biochemistry engineering and the modern biological technology industrialization. The fermentation process monitoring system takes an important role in the whole fermentation process, which immediately affects the result of fermentation process production. Through effective monitoring and controlling, fermentation process production can be operated normally and the product quality and output can be promoted.With the rapid development of microbe technique and the increasing enlargement of manufacturing dimensions in the ferment industry, it is urgent to carry through advanced optimization and control for the fermentation process. Presently, LabVIEW as a new development tool has been successfully applied in the monitoring and on-line control of biological ferment field, and becoming more and more popular, however, most of the researches are limited to the mode of host computer controlling slave computer, and remotely monitoring for the ferment process is rarely reported. At the same time, with swift advancement the technology of Internet and web database, it has become true to establish an open and extensible remote monitoring system, and data sharing, data publishing and remote control based on network will be the future development tendency. Since LabVIEW can conveniently connect with Internet, which provide a perfect resolution to the data automatic acquisition and remote control. According to the above-mentioned background, this paper improved the control mode of master computer controlling slave computer, realized remote monitoring for the ferment process based on Internet.The overall system was adapted modular and hierarchical design method, combined with sensor technology, programmable logical control technology, data acquisition, RS-485 Bus technique and the network communication technology, which had lots of advantages and openness such as simple interface, strong compatibility, easy to upgrade and convenient expansion.This paper firstly gives a brief introduction for the overall design idea of ferment process monitoring system, and then detailedly discussed system hardware constitution, software design thought and realization. The host computer was applied as system server, an arbitrary PC as client, LabVIEW as development tool, and PLC as slave computer, using the modulation design concept, which was mainly divided into eight modules: Parameter establishment module, data acquisition module, network service module, monitor warning module, real-time curve monitoring module, data analysis processing module, result analysis and user administration module. Accordingly multiple signal parameter acquisition, processing, analysis and display were realized.In addition, some technology related to the remote control such as CGI, RDA, ActiveX, TCP/IP and DataSocket have been researched in this paper, through comparison with those technologies on the characteristic of real-time, remote control, development difficulties and reliability, the conclusion was drawn that DataSocket is the most suitable method to realize ferment process remote on-line monitoring, multiple points real-time remote control has been realized based on C/S pattern network in this ferment on-line testing monitoring system. |
