Presently, with the combination of Mechanics, microelectronics and hydraulics, promotes the development of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic integration technology. And the electro-hydraulic proportional hydraulic bench of Chang’an University is a comprehensive experimental platform containing machine, electronics, hydraulics, instruments and so on. The pressure and flow can be controlled proportionally on the bench. This paper chooses the bench as the object of study, has built the measurement and control system based on host-slave computer model. Besides, the control process about system has been carried on the detailed design and research. As a result, the bench’s function will be further improved, and providing a platform for the study of electro-hydraulic proportional control technology conveniently. The main works are as follows:1. Briefly overview the compositions and control principle about the electro-hydraulic proportional laboratory platform. Analysing two hydraulic systems mainly containing electro-hydraulic proportional pump control motor and valve controlled motor. And two loading ways are introduced detaily on the bench: the proportional throttle valve and overflow valve.2. The functional requirements are analyzed about the whole test bench, then dividing the measurement and control system into two parts: data acquisition and output control. Some essential hardware such as the sensor, data acquisition card, analog output card, IPC, PLC, proportional amplifier has been selected. Finally, the connection relationship among those hardware are designed reasonably.3. The measurement and control system based on IPC selects LabVIEW as the virtual software platform. According to LabVIEW, preliminary scheme of software is designed about the measurement and control system. On the basis of the modular programming idea, the system software is divided into three parts: data acquisition module, the control module and data management module. Combining with LabVIEW software, the feasible analysis about three modules is carried out.4. For the measurement and control system of the bench, having the detailed design about the controlling process of human-machine interaction. A series of specific buttons, switches are mainly analyzed on the experimental operation platform. Finally, for upper computer IPC, lower computer PLC and proportional amplifier of each hydraulic component, having the detailed design and research about control principle and process implementation.
