Research On The Third Party Cold Chain Logistics Enterprises Business Process Optimization Based On Petri Net

With the improvement of living standards, the demand for fresh frozen products is bigger and bigger. The third-party cold chain logistics companies undertake cold chain logistics of the enterprises, depending on its higher work efficiency and professional cold chain equipments. In this way, the enterprises are able to focus on their core business and realize a win-win result. Optimization of the process of the third party cold chain logistics can reduce the cost and improve customers’ satisfaction, which is of great significance for the third party cold chain logistics companies and enterprises.The paper selects the third-party cold chain logistics company A as the object and go into details of their business processes. The paper analyzes the business processes and the basic knowledge of the Petri Net. And then, the paper builds the model of the third-party logistics company A, analyzes the basic properties of the model and verifies the correctness and rationality of the model. By using the ExSpect software to simulate the model, the paper gets the time performance of the model and analyzes the cost accounting of the model. The results of simulation show some problems of the model. Three improvements were made on the models, simulation is conducted for each improvement. In the improved models, the time performans are all decreased. However, the costs of the improved models are not all decreased, and the variances are not all increased. Considering the changes of time as well as the changes of cost and variance, the paper analyzes the synthesis of three improvements. Finally, the paper gets the more suitable improvement for Company A. Combining the optimal improvement to company A, the results show time performans and variance as well as the cost of the model are significantly reduced, and have the best combined properties. The paper points that the third party cold chain logistics companies in its processes optimization should analyze the congestion periods mainly and apply new information technology into its processes. In this way, the processes will be more effective.
