The Design And Application Of An Digital Exhibition For Yangjiabu New Year Paintings

Culture inheritance has a strong influence on the ideology of a nation. The creation of Yangjiabu paintings has strong local features with a long history of over 400 years. It closely links the art, people’s daily lives and spirit. In the age of digital virtual technique and internet, Yangjiabu should develop in a brand new way to protect the traditional culture, and go forward. In this study, a digital exhibition of Yangjiahu paintings is established based on virtual digitalization.Photoshop, 3Dmax, SpeedTree modeling and UDK was adopted to design the system of virtual exhibiton of Yangjiabu paintings. Firstly, the relative documentation of Yangjiabu culture was collected, such as architecture and tools, in practical world, followed by modeling in 3D technical platform.Virtual UDK engine creates a dynamic environment of painting exhibition, and realizes pickup, rotating, open and close of the door, and mosaic. Finally, the software was tested for several times. The product establishes 3D sharing and virtual wandering in PC platform, which changed a lot from previous tranditional way to express Yangjiabu culture, thus leading to attracting people to appreciate the beauty of it.As a word, this paper aims to finding out a good method to connect technique and art, in order to generate a dynamic space for Yangjiabu paintings, with digitalization and virtual interactive technique. The value of this research is, to apply virtual technique to establish a digital exhibition of Yangjiabu paintings.
