The increasing China’s population and the limited land resources bring great pressure to the supply of livestock products. As the breeding density increases, disease prevention, monitoring and control of temperature, humidity is very important to improve the yield and quality of breeding, and temperature and humidity monitoring and control is the key to improve the breeding density and yield.However, The traditional temperature and humidity monitoring transmission mode is based on the wired transmission, field wiring are involved in problems of wiring complexity, high cost, inadaptation to the complicated environment, and low anti-interference ability. The use of wireless communication way can solve the problem very well. As a new wireless communication technology, Zigbee has the characteristics of small volume, low cost, low power consumption, low complexity, strong anti-interference capability, etc., which is applicable to the development of modern bredding industry.Combined the Zigbee technology with the actual situations of breeding industry, this paper designs a wireless temperature and humidity monitoring system applied to livestock rearing room based on Zigbee technology. Based on actual situations, the paper analyzes thr overall design goal of the system and designs the overall structure of the system, using CC2530chip of TI Corp. system as the core node, the DHT11sensor as temperature and humidity sensors, to complete the hardware design of node. Node uses the modular design, and can be generally divided into MCU+RF module(CC2530)), power module, peripheral circuit module and sensor module of the terminal equipment.Meanwhile, with the use of IAR Embedded Workbench as the software development environment and the Z-stack protocol stack as basis, this paper completes the design of system software and realizes function of each node.Finally, in laboratory environment, the debugging and function test of the system are completed, and the system can work stably and complete the function collecting data of the temperature and humidity. Thus expected goal is achieved.
