With the continuous expansion of the scale of chinese breeding farm and continuous improvement of our breeding technology, the breeding industry is developing toward the direction of highly intelligent. Control of temperature, humidity and illumination is an important control aspect for the breeding farm production process. The traditional method of temperature control is manual control according to the read of temperature value of thermometer hanged in the breeding farm. And humidity and illumination can only be regulated with the experience of the workers. This traditional regulation is not suitable for intelligent development obviously.This thesis has designed a wireless sensor network environmental monitoring system based on ZigBee. The system consists of terminal nodes, the coordination node and the computer center of three parts. Terminal nodes are used to collect temperature, humidity and illumination of the environment, which are displayed on the LCD module LCD12864in real time. According to the datas whether exceed the set value or not or computer instructions, the system drives the relays and controls the appropriate electromechanical equipment. The coordinator node controls the establishment and maintenance of ZigBee network, sending or receiveing datas and computer instructions. Keeping communication with the computer through the serial port. The computer is used to display temperature, humidity and light illumination of the breeding farm in real time. If the data exceeds the set value, the computer will send the warning information and can send the instructions to control the appropriate electromechanical equipment. So as to achieve intelligent control of the breeding farm environmental informention.This thesis first introduces several of kinds short distance wireless communication technologies and the ZigBee protocol, then using the principle of modular to completed the hardware design that is based on the design of the system. The hardware design mainly includes the core module, terminal sensing and control bottom, bottom board for coordination of three parts. As radio frequency (RF) chip, CC2530is introduced in the core module, and temperature and humidity sensor DHT11and the photosensitive sensor are applied in snesor module. And then using the Prote199SE software to complete the design of the various modules of schematic and PCB board. Then using the IAR development environment to complete the software design of the terminal node and the coordinator node, using the Labwindows/CVI development environment to complete the software design of the computer interface. Functionality of the system is debuged at last.The system has the advantages of low labor and data accuracy, and it can be easily applied in practice. The system has basically achieved the expected results by running test.
