| With the rapid development of network media, the vulnerable members of gay also began to fight for independent voice and expression for their community, and their common goal is to seek the media for fair and various appearance of their own group. Therefore, in thinking of media diversity and social justice issues, we can not ignore how to promote the independent voice of the vulnerable members of homosexuals, and the image of "ordinary people" to return to public opinion field as an important research direction.The study chooses IFeng(on behalf of the mainstream network media) and Blued(on behalf of the gay network media) as the research object based on framing theory, and study gay reports from them for text analysis. By discussing, explan the status of gay reports and image from them, then, summary the problem of gay network media in communication practice and put forward some referential experiences.In this paper, the second and the third chapters respectively analysed the specific data on gay reports and image from IFeng and Blued, also elaborated their representative coverage of gay framework. Then, contrasted the gay reports and presentation of the inage from them in chapter four, with the corresponding example forqualitative analysis. Finally, summarized the ststus on gay report from Chinese network media and aimed at the existing problems to give some recommendations.Study found that the mainstream network media reports on gay is neutral, and homosexuality to have opportunities to speaking,and it’s similar with gay network media in reports and images. But, it does not eliminate the problems of homosexual stigma, still hidden unfair treatment in communication. Furdher study explores the gay network media trying to empower for gay and lesbia. However, there are some problems in the practice, and it failed to empower theirselves. And thus, gay network madia need some changs in content production and communication skills. |
