| The world is going into a age of whole media, the way of receiving information andmessages for the audiences are no longer limited to the media of newspapers, magazines,broadcast, TV and so on, and the internet, mobile phone, as a representative of new mediamore and more occupied the audience’s field of vision. Take the NBA games as an example,most of the fans will choose TV and internet to get fresh information about the NBA gamesnowadays. This kind of change gives us a deep understanding that with the fully and rapiddevelopment of the new media such as internet, mobile phone, the times of whole mediareport has come. To face the impact of all kinds of media under the whole media times, thetraditional media has to keep a foothold of the original, strengthen the depth and the authorityof the report content, and combining with the new media spread method. Only to do this, thetraditional media can take the dominant position in the age of internet and continue to survive.And the idea of making the depth report of sports news blend in the daily report of sportsnews writing can definitely be the effective way of preventing traditional media from beingmarginalized, and achieve the successful transformation.This thesis takes “Chinese Sports”,“Titan Sports”,“Liaoshen Evenings” as the researchobject, and chooses the reports of the periods of2008-2009NBA finals,2009-2010NBAfinals,2010-2011NBA finals in the three papers as example, make the vertical and lateralanalysis, and find out the development and change, the transformation status and existingproblems of the depth sports news report in the sports news report, to seek the developmenttrend of the depth sports news report in the sports news report under the age of whole media.Since the research mainly utilize the applied research, including the analysis and comparisonof the text, this thesis will adapt the content analysis method, and use the method ofcombining the qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis, and based on this, the thesis alsoutilize the text analysis and the research methods of literature.Through the research of the selected text, the author thinks that the applied gross of thedepth report of sports news in the sports news report and the gross of the genres and kinds ofthe reports will reach a high tide after the2008BeiJing Olympic Games, but now it tends tobe rational and reasonable.
