The author made a study of the children’s newspaper Middle School Students magazine founded in 1930 by the method of comparative analysis. The founded background, guiding principle, the development process and other basic information of the journal were elaborated firstly to introduce the magazine on the overall.Then the content before the "September 18th" Incident of Middle School Students magazine is analyzed from extending classroom knowledge and extra-curricular knowledge for school students, guiding the future for middle school students, eliminating and interactive and providing advantage for students to publish articles to show the journal features of enlightenment targeted in the beginning period.After the "September 18th" Incident, many articles about this event was published on Middle School Students magazine, and so the contents of the publication steered. The content about anti-Japanese War is divided into two parts to analyze in this paper including directly publicize resistance and releasing salvation signals through the politics, economy, military and other aspects to clarify the magazine has changed from enlightenment to salvation after the “September18th" Incident.On directly publicize resistance, the calls on the youth of this paper were reflected through identifying the current situation, advocating counterattack, focusing on anniversaries, educating and mobilizing young people. On the other hand, the politics situation is revealed by focusing on domestic and foreign dynamics, analyzing situations of China and Japan and the international relationships, also teaching readers to study current events.The author thinks Middle School Students magazine starts pay close attention to the war in China and continues to mobilize the readers against aggression since the "September 18th" Incident. Many columns involves the content of anti-Japanese. Comprehensively, the magazine has changed obviously from enlightenment to salvation after the "September 18th" Incident.
