Research On IT System Planning And Implementation Of W Water Company

This thesis analyzed the IT system planning and its implementation based on the practice of Joint Venture- W Water Company.First, we did an analysis for business environment, characters, and operation key concerns for Water Company. Thereafter, based on key business operation targets, an IT system development plan including, IT management, IT operation, IT key applications has been worked out. Especially for IT application, we designed from different aspects from business, IT architecture, data structure & sharing, to ensure it meet the all requirements defined.Further, a research of its implementation was conducted. The research is focus on ‘Business Process Reengineering’ including project initialization, business analysis, project organization, test, training, and etc., with key steps are in-depth described.The core value of this Thesis is as below:The research focus on IT system and planning for Water business,The research based on mature management model or practice, such as ITIL, SOX, and try to implement it in water business.All cases studied were come from real practices in Water company – W, which make them proved valid and good reference for other water companies...
