| In the past, Henan people received a lot of negative comments as a group image. Scholars mentioned an important factor when doing the analysis—the media’s unavoidable responsibility. At present, however, what is the image of Henan peoplethrough media’s reports? Carrying with such a question, in this paper, we selected some news about Henan people from 1999 to 2014 on Sina, then used content analysis method, combined with statistics and specific cases, to explore the changing trend of Henan people’s network media image.At last, we made a suggestion to build the crowd’s media image.This paper was divided into 5 parts.In the first part, we made an introduction, including backgrounds, significance, research status, research methods, and the statements of the research subject. In the second part, we took samples about the reports of Henan people from Sina.com’s every channel from January 1,1999 to December 31,2014 to analyze. The main contents of the analysis were sources, themes, tendencies, ways, and main bodies of the reports. Then we summed up the main media image types of Henan people in Internet media.In the third part, we concluded the changes of Henan people’s media image in reporting framework and tendency with time. In the fourth part, we analyzed the factors to cause the changes of Henan people’s media image from Henan people themselves, the media and the social dimension.In the fifth part, combining with the changing process of Henan people’s image in Internet media, we made the conclusion. |
