with the world's second largest economy,China has a responsible and good image of a big country in the world.To cope with climate change,China has actively assumed its social responsibilities and is at the forefront of the world climate protection movement.In the 17 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,the goal of building a resource-conserving and environment-friendly society in China was put forward.The 18 th National Congress incorporated the construction of ecological civilization into the "fivein-one" national development strategy.After the 19 th National Congress,the ecological civilization was written.The constitution.Before the 1970 s,China's climate change reports were single in content,simple in form,and did not form a certain scale.After the reform and opening up in the late 1970 s,China's climate change reports began to gradually evolve from simple to mature.In the past 40 years of reform and opening up,the People's Daily's climate change report has always followed the development of social politics,economy and culture.The issues involved in climate change reporting have gradually deepened,and the forms of reports have gradually enriched and formed a fixed type of report.This study takes the climate change report of the People's Daily for 40 years of reform and opening up as the research object,and draws 455 samples from more than 8,000 reports through the sample survey method as a research sample,by classifying the samples,using the first quantitative,The postqualification analysis method summarizes and analyzes the overall development trend of the People's Daily Climate Change Report.Through the analysis of the sample,it is found that the political,economic and cultural developments of different eras are different.The climate change report of People's Daily has different characteristics.From 1978 to 2018,the People's Daily climate change report developed through three stages,namely the initial stage(1978-1991),the development stage(1992-2001),and the deepening stage(2002-present).After analyzing and comparing the form and content of the report,the number,layout,length,genre,issue framework and the tendency of the report,the climate change report of the People's Daily for the 40 years of reform and opening up was Different characteristics of the three stages of initial,development and deepening.In the initial stage,the media function of People's Daily mainly focused on transmitting information and propagating the party's policies.Therefore,the framework of the report is single.During the influence of the report on the audience;in the development stage,the report keeps up with the hotspots of the times,and is closer to the life of the public,and begins to use the terrorist appeal to arouse the audience.The People's Daily's report on climate change has developed along with the historical process of reform and opening up.It analyzes the characteristics of the reports at different stages and then analyzes the background factors of economic,political,scientific,and conscious.The impact of People's Daily's report on climate change mainly focuses on two aspects: one is the impact on the national government(at the decision-making level),and the other is the impact on the audience's awareness of environmental protection.For the country,People's Daily's report not only
