With the rapid development of information technology,the traditional business began to consider more and more through information technology to achieve.Because of the emergence of these new business systems,the traditional "one machine one application" model clearly can not keep up with the pace of the times,IT investment in the continuous expansion of the server more and more,the engine room space becomes smaller and smaller,The difficulty of technical staff management continues to improve,these factors make the data center eager to virtualization technology to improve this situation.Vmware virtualization technology can effectively achieve the integration of physical resources,breaking the original "one machine one application" model,through the sharing of resources to improve the utilization of existing resources,reducing the data center investment,reducing the space Demand,reducing the server hardware investment,reducing the power supply and cooling needs,reducing the operation and maintenance personnel management needs.Improve the hardware and application of high availability,reduce server downtime,to achieve business continuity,not because of hardware maintenance or upgrade and interrupt service.This paper first introduces the actual situation of data center,analyzes the necessity of using virtualization technology to integrate data center resources,expatiates the history of virtualization technology and analyzes all kinds of virtualization technology.And then a detailed description of the Vmware vShere suite of working principle,functional components,the virtual efficiency evaluation.Finally,it builds a virtualized environment,introduces server virtualization,network virtualization,storage virtualization and virtualized cluster configuration,and successfully builds a virtualized platform and compares the performance of virtual machine and physical machine.At present,this article uses Vmware virtualization technology,install ESXi server,deployment management tool vCenter Server,complete the virtualization platform to build and has been officially put into use,to achieve the integration of the old data center equipment,out of a number of old equipment,The release of the room space,reducing operating costs and improve management efficiency and improve the server's resource utilization,the original deployment of 10 business systems need 10 servers,and now only need to be composed of four blade servers on the virtual platform Virtual machine to meet the needs.At the same time,this paper also realizes the high availability of the virtualization platform.The virtual machine can be migrated on the host of the virtualization platform in real time to ensure the stable operation of the business system.
