Solid State Storage is built on the basis of the Mechanical Structure HDD (HardDisk Drive) technology. It is a newly electronic technology which improves the singlechannel’s access speed to40Mb/s. Not only with longer service life, higher safety andlower cost, the product has significant compatibility of HDD Technology. With thedevelopment of the electronic industry and storage application, Solid State Storagewill play an important role in safe storage and massive data analysis.A new realization and optimization of NAND Flash Array controlled by Ethernetwas proposed in this article. Gigabit Ethernet controller receives instructions and datafrom PC, and then writes data to NAND Flash Array as the instructions’ request.Firstly, Solid State Storage technology and Ethernet standards is descripted andshows the mainstream application and development on this field. NAND Flashcontrolling technology is discussed in this article to show the advantages of readingand writing operating. Besides, Gigabit Ethernet standard is included in this article toshow the basic principle and application, which will take the control of the datatransmit system. For the implementation of this design, C programming language andVerilog HDL language were used under the compilation environment of VisualDSP++5.0and Xilinx ISE14.1. Finally, Gigabit Ethernet kernel functional isimplemented with the system clock125MHz, which supports ARP and UDP protocol.NAND Flash controller with multichannel is designed with the reading and writingclock20MHz. The whole system work with the NET assistor on PC and meet thetechnical requirements.
